Demi Moore’s first Oscar may not be out of reach after “The Substance” star came out victorious at the Golden Globes last month and again at the Critics Choice Awards on Friday night.

Moore, 62, took home her first-ever Critics Choice Award in best actress for her role in campy body-horror flick “The Substance.”

“When I started the journey of this film, I could never imagine being here. This is so far beyond anything that I could have hoped for,” Moore told the crowd at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, California.

She also thanked her “Substance” co-star Margaret Qualley, who plays her character Elisabeth Sparkle’s younger self Sue, for sharing the role, adding that she wouldn’t have done this without her. Moore then encouraged those who haven’t found success at something for a long time to persevere.

Demi Moore accepts best actress for "The Substance" during the 30th annual Critics Choice Awards.

“For anybody out there still on their journey, still struggling to find their way, whatever it is that you do: Just because it hasn’t happened doesn’t mean it isn’t happening,” Moore said. “So just stick with it and know that dreams do come true.”

Other nominees in the category included “Wicked” star Cynthia Erivo, “Emilia Pérez” star Karla Sofía Gascón, “Hard Truths” star Marianne Jean-Baptiste, “Anora” star Mikey Madison and “Maria” star Angelina Jolie.

Demi Moore bagged her first major award at the Golden Globes

At last month’s Golden Globes, Moore snagged her first major industry award where she delivered a touching, tear-jerking speech. As made her way onto the stage, she told the crowd that she was in complete shock.

She cited a conversation 30 years ago when a producer called her a “popcorn actress,” meaning she could be in successful movies but would never be acknowledged for them.

“In those moments when we don’t think we’re smart enough or pretty enough or skinny enough or successful enough or basically just not enough, I had a woman say to me, just know you will never be enough, but you can know the value of your worth if you just put down a measuring stick,” she said. “And so today, I celebrate this as a marker of my wholeness and of the love that is driving me, and for the gift of doing something I love and being reminded that I do belong.”

Moore is nominated in best actress at this year’s Academy Awards, which will be held in Los Angeles on March 2.
