Before film’s biggest night on March 2, on-screen talent will have another moment in the spotlight at this weekend’s Screen Actors Guild Awards.
Five best picture nominees find themselves in SAG’s top category for best ensemble cast including “Anora,” “A Complete Unknown,” “Conclave,” “Emilia Pérez” and “Wicked.”
For the first time since 2019, the SAG Awards will have an official emcee, following other award shows like the Golden Globes where Nikki Glaser served as host last month and the Critics Choice Awards this month, hosted by Chelsea Handler.

Who is hosting the SAG Awards in 2025?
“The Good Place” star Kristen Bell will host the 2025 SAG Awards, serving as the show’s first official emcee since Megan Mullally’s run in 2019.
Bell is also nominated for the best actress in a comedy series category for her role as podcaster Joanne in the Netflix rom-com “Nobody Wants This.”

What award is Jane Fonda getting at the 2025 SAG Awards?
Two-time Oscar winner Jane Fonda will receive this year’s Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2025 SAG Awards.
The “Grace and Frankie” star will become the 60th recipient of SAG-AFTRA’s highest tribute. Julia Louis-Dreyfus is slated to present Fonda with the honor.
“I am deeply honored and humbled to be this year’s recipient of the SAG Life Achievement Award. I have been working in this industry for almost the entirety of my life and there’s no honor like the one bestowed on you by your peers,” Fonda said in an October news release.
